Well Woman Check

An annual gynaecological check up offers reassurance and can potentially detect and treat problems early enough to help prevent serious consequences. Such appointments also give the opportunity to address common questions related to gynaecological health or deal with long standing complains that have been overlooked due to lack of free time or inadequate relevant information. However, this check is not designed for assessment of a known gynaecological condition. In such cases it is advisable to request an appointment for consultation with one of our gynaecologists who will be happy to offer his professional opinion tailored to your needs. 

The Well Woman Check includes:

• Detailed medical history
• Blood pressure and weight
• Urine analysis
• Smear test (Papanikolaou)
• Gynaecology scan

Depending on individual needs other special tests maybe required such as Urine culture, Vaginal swabs, Renal, Liver and Thyroid function tests, Hormonal profile, Serum Tumour markers (CA 125), Bone density scan and Mammography.
