Mr George Pandis works as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and has NHS practice based at the University College London Hospital
He is actively involved in research, education and training. He has published peer reviewed papers within obstetrics and gynaecology, and has an ongoing research interest in the field of minimal access surgery and endometriosis.
He is amongst the few Consultants who have had specialist training in advanced minimal access surgery, and is involved in training programs and courses to teach advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques.

Mr George Pandis
Mr George Pandis is a full time Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at University College London Hospitals (www.uclh.nhs.uk). He regularly manages a wide variety of conditions in benign gynaecology which require laparoscopic or hysteroscopic (keyhole) surgery, such as pelvic pain, heavy periods or other menstrual problems, ovarian cysts and fibroids. His main area of expertise is advanced laparoscopic surgery and endometriosis. He is one of the three consultant gynaecology surgeons of the UCLH endometriosis centre which is among the first national centres accredited by the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy in performing complex laparoscopic surgery for rectovaginal endometriosis (www.bsge.org.uk/endometriosis-centres.php).
George Pandis graduated from the Medical School of Ioannina University, Greece, in 1991. He commenced and completed his entire specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London university/teaching hospitals. During his training he completed a 2-year research fellowship in Fetal Medicine at King´s College Hospital and a 2-year clinical fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at UCLH. He was awarded the membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2005 and the title of specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2007. He has published and presented scientific works on laparoscopic surgery, endometriosis and fetal medicine in medical journals and books as well as in national and international congresses.
