Dr Maggie Blott MRCOG
Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Dr Maggie Blott is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Maternal Medicine and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at The Institute for Women’s Health, and University College London Hospitals. Dr Blott graduated from Newcastle University in 1982 and has done all her postgraduate training in London. She was appointed as a consultant in 1994 to King’s College Hospital where she stayed for ten years, after a brief return to Newcastle Dr Blott was appointed on to the staff of University College London NHS Trust in 2006 where she jointly manages a multidisciplinary high risk antenatal clinic and runs the labour ward.
Dr Blott is a regular columnist for Top Sante magazine and writes regularly for a number of other pregnancy related publications and she is a spokesperson for the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
