Mr Sotiris Vimplis

MBBS(Hons) MRCOG
Consultant Gynaecologist

Mr. Sotiris Vimplis is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Barts Health NHS Trust and the Lead Clinician for colposcopy and gynaecological oncology services at Whipps Cross University Hospital. He undertook his specialist training in London and Mid Trent region and completed special skills training modules in laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy and gynaecological ultrasound. He worked for two years as a Consultant in Obstetrics and gynaecology at Queen’s Medical Centre, University Hospital in Nottingham before moving to London.

Mr. Vimplis has wide experience of treating a range of gynaecological problems including irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and prolapse. He also offers consultations for well women checks and cervical cancer screening. Much of his surgical expertise is in performing keyhole surgery. He has participated to surgical camps at remote villages in Nepal for charity.

Ms Ephia Yasmin

MRCOG, MBBS, MD
Consultant Gynaecologist and specialist in fertility and adolescent gynaecology

Miss Ephia Yasmin is a consultant and sub specialist in reproductive medicine and surgery at University College London Hospital. She is an honorary associate professor at University College London. She is the chair of policy and practice the British Fertility Society and authors national fertility treatment guidance. She has an MD from the University of Leeds on polycystic ovary syndrome. She has acquired her wide experience and expertise in fertility treatments from some of the leading centres in the country; Leeds, Bristol and London.

Miss Yasmin has published in peer reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters. She is associate editor of The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (TOG) and chair of the British Fertility Society policy and practice committee.
