Mrs Anupama Shahid works as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Barts Health NHS Trust in London and specialises in Subfertility, Reproductive Medicine, Reproductive endocrinology, Menopause, Recurrent Miscarriages, Early pregnancy problems, Gynaecological ultrasound, Ovarian cysts, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Heavy Menstrual Bleeding, Fibroids, Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain.
Mrs Shahid was trained in Reproductive medicine and Assisted reproduction at the Centre of Reproductive and Genetic Health, (CRGH) London and University College London Hospitals.
Her research in outpatient hysteroscopy that she performed when she was working as a senior registrar at the University College of London Hospital has won the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy Innovation Award.
Mrs Shahid is the Clinical Director for Gynaecology Network at Barts Health NHS Trust Hospitals, London.
Regional Educational Preceptor for Postgraduate Advanced Training in Emergency Gynaecology at the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and North East and Central London Deanery.

Mr. Sotiris Vimplis is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Barts Health NHS Trust. He undertook his specialist registrar training in Nottingham University Hospitals and the Mid Trent region and completed special skills training modules in laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy and gynaecological ultrasound. He was awarded the membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2004 and the title of specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2007.
He worked for two years as a Consultant in Obstetrics and gynaecology at Queen’s Medical Centre, University Hospital in Nottingham before moving to London. He is the Lead clinician for colposcopy and diagnostic oncology services for gynaecology at Whipps Cross University Hospital. He has wide experience of treating a range of gynaecological problems including irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and prolapse. He also offers consultations for well women checks and cervical cancer screening. Much of his surgical expertise is in performing keyhole surgery. He participates to surgical camps at remote villages in Nepal for charity.
